Overview:

My client is a financial institution and one of the largest regional corporate banks in Asia.

We are looking for an experienced and seasoned banker with expertise in M&A and leveraged financing to join the expanding team in Hong Kong.

Your New Role:

Sourcing leveraged acquisition financing opportunities by cultivating relationships with global private equity firms, strategic investors across APAC and other international markets, preferably non-PRC PEs.
Originating LBO, M&A deals from global buyout funds or SI as buy or sell side financial advisor
Supporting transaction execution across a diverse range of deals.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Holder of SFC Type 1, 4, and 6 EO licenses
Minimum 10 years’ experience in leverage finance, private equity or investment banking with hands-on financing experience of sizeable clients with at least deal value of USD500M or above
Strong network with key stakeholders in the M&A space, including leading buyout funds
Solid understanding of cross-border M&A, acquisition financing, and relevant accounting and legal frameworks
Native or fluent English speaker
