Our client is a US electronic product recycling company. They are starting their office in Hong Kong and looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Operations and Logistics Executive in Hong Kong. This position will play a crucial role in improving efficiency in order management, fulfilment, and quality control, as well as leading logistics partnerships with 3PLs and logistics companies.
Your new role
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on warehouse duties to enhance efficiency in order management, fulfilment, and quality control processes.
- Take the lead in establishing and managing partnerships with 3PLs and logistics companies, both locally and internationally. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and testing out new providers.
- Analyse the current fulfilment process, identify areas for improvement, and provide data-driven suggestions. Monitor platform and offline sales data to track performance.
- Work closely with the Head of Growth to identify and establish strategic partnerships in the logistics sector. Provide assistance as needed.
- Optimise logistics and fulfilment costs by analysing data and providing suggestions for improvement. Present recommendations to management on a quarterly basis to increase revenue.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Must be fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
