Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant (Accounts Payable), you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining financial records. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance team.
- Process invoices, match them with purchase orders, and ensure proper coding
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payment-related queries
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Assist in month-end closing activities
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.SAP)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
