Our client is a global leading parcel delivery service provider. They are looking for an operational position to join their team, which involves overseeing the operations related to the handling, shipping, and parcel delivery. The manager ensures that all aspects of the parcel delivery process are efficient, cost-effective, and meet customer satisfaction levels.

Your new role

  • Oversee and manage daily operations activities to meet customers’ request and business target
  • Ensure all operations work process, documents, and records in compliance with the legal and company requirement
  • Formulate logistics / fulfilment plans and strategies to enhance service quality and drive operational efficiency
  • Streamline operations workflow in local, Mainland China and overseas processing centres to achieve cost-effectiveness and align with business strategies and goals
  • Prepare budgeting and manage operations within budget
  • Source, liaise and manage external service providers to achieve cost-effectiveness and drive zero-defect service
  • Report to local management, work closely with HQ and regional offices, and coordinate with business partners to drive business initiative projects and manage deliverables
  • Provide supervision, leadership, and training for the team to persistently enhance team spirit and efficiency
  • Initiate and manage staff development plans, drive individual / team results with KPI development
  • Review and analyse operations data and performance to prepare weekly/ monthly management reports with recommendations
  • Maintain the standard of health and safety and security

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree holder or above in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related disciplines
  • At 5 years relevant experience in managing international logistics operations, with 2 years of supervisory/management role
  • Having a background of airfreight related to e-commence, warehousing and fulfilment knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good team players and strong people management
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership and management skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills and planning skills
  • Energetic, well-organised, responsible, and self-initiative person with strong analytical skills
  • Good at written and spoken in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
