Our client is a global leading Innovation Mechanical Components Manufacturer; they are actively looking for a Product and Engineering Manager to provide strategic initiatives across Global Operations and Product Development teams. Lead technical aspects in injection moulding, printing, assembly, automation, and new technology initiatives to ensure sustainable manufacturing excellence.

Your new role

• Embody and promote the company's values within your team and cross-functionally.
• Engage deeply with the company's production process to drive enhancements ensuring product commercialisation excellence.
• Manage the tooling construction process and uphold best practices.
• Supervise the testing and inspection lab to align the company with key suppliers and support timely mould qualifications.
• Oversee product commercialisation and product line maintenance activities within the company's China operations and its manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to align design guidelines and enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop initiatives integrating Operations, Product Development, and Sustainability to achieve strategic objectives.
• Explore future manufacturing technologies and sustainable solutions.
• Establish and enhance partnerships with suppliers and spearhead the adoption of innovative technologies and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in direct involvement with plastic injection production.
• Proven ability to work effectively with third-party manufacturing partners and influence operational plans.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Hands-on experience of driving improvements in cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in plastic part design and analysis.
• Willingness to travel globally.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
