• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise the supply chain processes and maximise operational efficiency.
• Strategically manage OEM factories and critical component suppliers, ensuring alignment of skills and capacity to optimise operations and eliminate single points of failure.
• Monitor market trends and negotiate favourable terms with OEM factories and critical component suppliers, including price, production lead time, MOQ, and payment terms.
• Oversee the day-to-day supply chain matters, including production scheduling, container consolidation, customs declaration, shipping, and logistics, through effective management of the Merchandising team.
• Drive the engineering team in new product development, ensuring practical production considerations, timely mockups, and tooling readiness.
• Manage the Quality Team to ensure the correct implementation of quality procedures in OEM factories.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain and tooling manufacturing processes.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in automotive design, with a strong focus on electric vehicles
• Proven track record of managing R&D teams and successfully bringing new products to market
• Deep understanding of vehicle system architectures, electric powertrains, battery technology, automotive intelligent software, advanced power semiconductor applications and collaborative robotics solutions, and smart driving
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English is a must.
