Your new company

Our client is a global medical device manufacturer of high-level medical equipment, specialised in interventional instruments for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) procedures.

Due to business expansion, they are dedicated to hiring a Head of Quality for their regional team in Hong Kong.

Your new role

• Maintain relationships with external suppliers, enhance company quality practices and compliance
• Lead a team of QA and QC technologists and inspections within own manufacturers, provide guidance and coaching to team staff in effectiveness and service improvement.
• Conduct internal and external audits and assessments and drive initiatives.
• Implement regulatory strategies and provide advice to existing and new clients.
• Evolve and develop existing quality system to meet the requirements of a medical equipment audit program.
• Develop and implement quality procedures and policies as per HQ, ensuring full compliance with company standards which are served as a framework for enhancing the quality of company products and services.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree or above in any discipline such as engineering, biochemistry or quality management.
• Hands-on experience in quality management within the medical equipment industry.
• With existing experience of leading a quality management team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Great knowledge in QMS, factory auditing and product testing within medical equipment items
• Good communication in Chinese as well as English.
• Solid experience in collaborating and influencing shareholders at all levels within the company group.
