Your new role

• Take responsibility for end-to-end solution delivery, overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects. This includes project management, managing technical requirements, vendor relationships, and prioritizing requirements to support the business in achieving its financial goals.
• Lead the development and maintenance of assigned applications, providing support to drive business growth.
• Ensure that solutions align with the company's IT strategy and architecture roadmap, enabling the achievement of the architectural vision and strategic goals.
• Assume ownership of the overall design of assigned application systems, ensuring the development of comprehensive, robust, and automated applications that support different lines of business and accommodate rapid growth.
• Develop and implement project processes, procedures, and toolkits to enhance standardization, efficiency, and effectiveness in project execution, ensuring the optimal management of deliverables.
• Ensure compliance of project solutions with organizational and regulatory standards and requirements, adhering to regulatory guidelines and group-wide standards.
• Manage the solution architecture design and software quality delivered by external vendors, ensuring the best management of vendor deliverables.
• Establish and maintain systems, policies, and procedures that ensure IT processes adhere to relevant local and group compliance procedures, obtaining satisfactory audit and regulatory review reports.
• Oversee the development schedule, application design, and software quality delivered by external vendors, ensuring effective management of vendor deliverables

What you'll need to succeed

• 15+ years of experience in Application Development with minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Solid insurance business knowledge.
• Strong managerial, supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Digital / core policy administration systems exposure
