What you'll need to succeed

Core Developers drive forward the underlying systems on which all trading is based. These systems are key to their competitive advantage in technical infrastructure and enable us to operate at the forefront of performance, stability, and scalability. In an environment where performance is measured in nanoseconds, we constantly ask ourselves what is possible, not what is merely acceptable. An ideal candidate must have technical excellence as well as an interest in market mechanics and a passion for high-performance computing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement high-frequency trading platforms
• Cutting edge performance optimization across compilers, operating systems and networking
• Seek constant inspiration and ideas from other high-tech industries

YOUR SKILLS AND TALENTS

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science
• Passion for technology and software development
• Experience with advanced techniques to minimize latency
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ and/or hardcore lower-level C code
• Advanced Linux Kernel knowledge is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Never settle for the second fastest solution
