Our client is a leading bank in the world with more than 500 offices globally. They provide a variety of financial services, including commercial banking, corporate banking, private / personal banking and asset management services. My client is rated as one of world's top banks, ranked 'Aa1" by Moody's and 'AA-' by both S&P Global and Fitch Ratings.

Your new role

• Provide legal support to the bank in bilateral and syndicated loans and trade financing in order to manage legal risks arising from the activities and operations undertaken by the business or support units;
• Work with business and support units to develop standard documentation templates, term sheets and confirmations for specific transactions, structures or products;
• Provide risk assessment of transactions, structures and new initiatives;
• Review and assist to negotiate contracts and agreements; and instruct and work with external counsel where relevant;
• Ad hoc projects as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

• LLB / LLM;
• At least 8 to 15 years PQE with in-house banking experience;
• Knowledge and experience in bilateral and syndicated loans and trade financing;
• Knowledge of Global Market products would be an advantage;
• Good interpersonal and communication skill;
• Fluent Cantonese, English, and fair mandarin;
• Ability to read and write Chinese.
