My client is a multinational engineering solution giant with a global presence in over 60 countries on 5 continents. They have a very diversified business branch and offer engineering solutions across different industries. With their business expansion, they are now looking for a Solution Architect with SCADA experience to join their growing team. 60% pre-sales, client facing and technical proposal & 40% in project management, design and engineering.

Your new role

• Responsible for analysing technical requirement compliance for a bid or project based on product capabilities including both internal and external products
• Work closely with Bid / Project Manager, Solution Engineering Manager and other WorkPackage Managers to capture customer needs and to ensure a high level of requirement clarity during project execution
• Define the system (SCADA) design / alternative solution based on customer requirements and product policy with considersations and balance of innovations, competitiveness and feasibility; identifiation of required product enhancements (internal product) for acceptance if required
• Acts as the primary technical lead in bid or project;
• Prepare and update the design document for senior design authority approval

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder in Electronic / Computer Science/ Engineering or related discipline;
• At least 12 years of experiences in large-scale SCADA / Control system
• Solid experiences in system and interface design for SCADA system;
• Good understanding of system engineering (e.g. requirement analysis, design, V&V, etc.)
• Detail-minded, strong analytical skills and communication skills;
• Good command of both Chinese & English; mandarin is an advantage
