Your new role

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with cross domain peers from accounting and actuarial to understand requirements relating to enhancements or defects identified in the solution.
• IFRS 17 AWS Data Lake component UAT support and Parallel Run testing activities prior to production going live, along with production support
• Update and maintain data transformation documentation
• Troubleshoot and update ETL logic based on testing activities
• Collaboration with central IT team to facilitate deployment activities across environment
• Maintain and enhance ETL framework in accordance with best practice and workday schedule
• IFRS 17 related support & future development for the BAU Data Engineering Support

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data transformation tools such as Talend is highly desired
• Hands-on experience with AWS solutions, Jenkins, Git and other ETL tools such as SSIS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to self-learn and pickup IFRS17 key competencies and data engineering responsibilities
• 5 + years working experience in development using Python, Scala, SQL, preferably with experience in IFRS 17
• Regional exposure would be an advantage
