Your new company

Currently working with a Top-Tier Insurance Corporation running local and regional offices located in Hong Kong. With their business growing, now they are looking for a Network Engineer who has strong expertise in office networks. The right candidate will be given a platform with high exposure within the company and working collectively in an energetic team.

Your new role

• Manage the WAN/LAN for all HK Offices while collaborating with the external service provider to guarantee the services meet all standards
• Ensure that the IT network infrastructure meets compliance and security standards
• Support in the setup of IT Network Infrastructure and network integration for new office setups
• Responsible for implementing and managing the LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi networks in accordance with the Group's standards
• Work with the Group network team to define network design and standards
• Develop and manage governance best practice to ensure the platform's quality and security across the local BU
• Constantly provide enhancements and solutions to ensure the highest degree of network infrastructure availability

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting network infrastructure in middle to large organisation
• Experience in vendor management for solution proposal, delivery, service level control
• Solid experience in network administration including Switches, Routers, Wireless Controllers, Load Balancers, SD-WAN and Firewalls
• Familiar with multivendor environment such as Cisco, Checkpoint, F5 and others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
