Your new role
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements and adhere to the bank's practices.
- Engage in the complete SDLC, including gathering requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying assigned projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate software design patterns and tools, following the bank's technology governance.
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure the delivery of reliable and scalable products.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and promote knowledge sharing amongst team members.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software engineering and provide recommendations for their adoption.
- Collaborate in designing and implementing scalable and robust software architectures.
- Support and contribute to the bank's architecture and solutions.
- Assist in supporting DevOps and implementing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices for applications
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java (Spring-Boot / Spring-Cloud), JavaScript, and Python (a plus)
- Familiarity with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines and containerization (a plus)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
