VP, Regulatory Reporting, Banking

A well-established bank is hiring a VP for their Regulatory Reporting team.
My client is hiring for a VP within well-established banking institutions in Hong Kong, focused on regulatory reporting. They offer a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to the preparation and review of HKMA submissions, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review HKMA banking returns, surveys, and other regulatory submissions.
  • Act as both preparer and reviewer to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and head office to validate data and support audits.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and drive process improvements.
  • Lead or support a small team depending on the role.
Ideal Candidates:
  • 8–10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of HKMA requirements and banking products.
  • Proven experience in both preparation and review of regulatory reports.
  • Leadership experience preferred for the team head role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and regulatory systems; bilingual in English and Chinese.
