One of the largest telecommunication giants is looking for a VP, E-commerce Business Development & Operations in Hong Kong.
Your new role
- Responsible for the development and execution of business, partnership, product and merchandising strategy
- Able to build strategic partnership with local and overseas suppliers, retailers, distributors and develop exclusive product sourcing strategies, category assortment, business terms and allocation planning
- Drive Open-To-Buy management, pricing and competitive/ market analysis, continuous improvement in the buying and merchandising cycle including sales, sell through, logistic and inventory
- Lead the team in ongoing competitive shopping and research to identify new and emerging relevant trends and translate into current and future business growth plans
- Work closely with Marketing, Logistics, Operations and Customer Service team ensuring smooth supplier onboarding, trading terms and contract development, inventory management, pre-sales and post-sales order fulfillment, payment, go-to-market strategy and joint marketing strategy with partners.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional leadership team to drive the company’s strategic objectives and achieve organizational metrics
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Business or equivalent
- 10-15 years or above experience in eCommerce and B2C business development sectors, preferably in consumer products or marketplace industry
- Strong business acumen and good analytical skills; hands-on experience developing strategies
- Analytical, open to change, well-organized and self-motivated with strong market sense and awareness
- You have a strong partnership network locally and globally in eCommerce, retailers, suppliers, distributors
- You have solid track records in building strategic partnership with major suppliers contribute a significant value to the business
- You are driven, hands-on, results-oriented and have an entrepreneurial spirit
- You have an agile mindset and thrive in a fast-paced environment
