Our client is one of the largest hotel operators in Hong Kong, who committed to exceeding the needs of every guest and provide first-class international guestrooms. They are looking for a Vice President of Operations to manage the hotel's operation.

Your new role
  • Establish and implement the strategic direction of the hotel operations to ensure all hotels maximize its short and long term’s profitability and returns
  • Collaborate with Senior Management Team to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems
  • Collaborate with other divisions and departments to carry out the company goals and objectives
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new process, technology, and system to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials
  • Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of operational practices, processes and activities; recommend or otherwise ensure appropriate measures are taken to maximize the performance of all operations
  • Review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
  • Identify training needs and ensure proper training is developed and provided

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree holder or above from top notch university in Hospitality or Tourism Management
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Hotel’s operations of which at least three years of above property combined management experience over Operations, Sales & Revenue Management
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of the hospitality and business management fields
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with executives at all organizational levels; owners, investors, associates and guests
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of responsibility and accountability
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for AVP position
