Your new company
Our client is a well-established private bank founded in Europe over a hundred years ago. They are currently seeking a lawyer to join their growing banking business.

Your new role

• Providing expertise legal advice with particular in Hong Kong’s financial services law and regulations
• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing all legal documents with external counterparties and documentation for Hong Kong
• Providing legal assistance on transactional matters to Front Office and Credit Management
• Assisting management level and all other departments and functions on different legal and regulatory concerns
• Advising and helping to manage changes related in law and regulations when necessary
• Involving in the developing of policies and procedures to reduce legal risks
• Supporting project initiatives from legal and risk aspects
• Assisting in the management of external legal support and maintain cost discipline

What you'll need to succeed

• Law degree is required with appropriate licensing to practise law unless not required under local rules for in-house legal counsel
• 4 to 10 post-qualification experience, preferably with in-house legal experience in a financial institution or a bank
