• One of the largest international investment bank which provides trading, asset management and brokerage services is looking for a talented Senior Linux/Unix Engineer for their IT team.
  
  

Your new role

• Keep track of configuration, operating, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Create and prepare SLA management reports for management review.
• Create and carry out plans for improving operations in the pertinent infrastructure.
• Install, set up, and care for Linux and Unix servers.
• Update and patch the system on a regular basis. Keep an eye on system performance and make sure it is highly available.
• Use Python, Bash, or another scripting language to create and manage automation scripts.
• Use configuration management technologies such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 6+ years of Linux/Unix systems support or infrastructure operations experience (FSI/ Banking environment would be an advantage)
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Solaris).
• Proficient in shell scripting and automation tools.
• Experienced with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
