Your new company
One of a leading international general insurance is looking for a senior claims officer, Travel for their Hong Kong team.
Your new role
- Responsible for handling and monitoring the travel, property and home insurance claims
- Promptly handle claims including third party liability of home claims taking responsibility to resolve all enquiries from both customer and external contacts to ensure delivery of a focused claims service
- Develop a claims case strategy to ensure that appropriate reserves are assigned with investigations conducted and appropriate suppliers engaged
- Acquire and efficiently organize the relevant evidence and information to accurately assess the value of the claim and to recognize potential fraud/recovery indicators
- Review, resolve and proactively finalize claims within authority limits ensuring settlement at an optimum level
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor degree holder and/or equivalent working experience
- Over 2 year claims experience in travel/ home/ EC/ A&H
- Good technical knowledge on claims handling, preferably travel insurance
- Proficient in both Chinese and English written and spoken
- Candidate with less experience will consider as claims officer
