Your new role

• Collect and analyse user requirements, produce functional and/or system specifications and build or enhance application systems to cope with business needs

• Ensure quality of deliverables

• Participate in development and testing activities, and perform system support, configurations, and maintenance

• Manage project life-cycle, progress reports, status meetings, and escalations

• Work with BA's, vendors, and other functional teams for system requirement analysis, and project scope estimation, design, development, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

• At least 5 years solid development experience in Java and/or Python

• Hands-on experience in Oracle, Websphere, Web Service, XML, JavaScript, MQ, ClearCase, shell scripts

• Working experience in banking systems, especially on Treasuries, would be an advantage

• Prior experience in treasury systems such as Murex, Summit, Calypso, etc. preferred

• Familiar with SDLC

• Self-motivated and possess strong leadership, project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication skills

• Fluent in Cantonese, and well-spoken and written English. Manadarin is a plus.
