Your new role

The Beef Trader will be responsible for managing the trading of beef offals into China, leveraging their expertise in the meat business to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of trading experience in the meat business, with a focus on beef offals. They should also have strong negotiation skills, be able to travel domestically and internationally, and have a deep understanding of claims, credit, and operations procedures.

• Manage the trading of beef offals into China, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers, negotiating contracts and resolving any issues that arise
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry developments, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to food safety and quality
• Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations

What you'll need to succeed

• 3–5 years of trading experience in the meat business, with a focus on beef offals
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
• Knowledge of claims, credit, and operations procedures
• Fluency in English, Mandarin is highly preferred
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
