Your new company

A multinational automation business has recently awarded a new project with MTR as a main contractor. They are now looking for a young Automation Engineer with PLC background to join their growing operation, preferably experience in Allen Bradley or other similar application.

Your new role

• Writing associated software requirement and designs
• Design PLC hardware configuration and control communication network
• Test and verify the functionality of PLC hardware and the control communication network
• Ensure compatibility between PLC hardware and software
• Writing software package release documents and related software unit test documents
• Support the testing and commissioning on site

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor degree in electrical/ electronic/ mechanical/ computer science/ software engineering or related discipline
• 2 years experience or above in programming automation or controls systems in related to PLC
• Experience in PLC hardware, logic and programming
• Understanding the ladder logic, structural text programming and functional block programming and experience with logic auto-generation from templates and SCADA systems is a plus
• Knowledge of control networks such as ControlNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus is a plus
• Ability to understand electrical drawings
• Good command in both English and Cantonese
