- A Regional Bank is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Business Strategy, Offshore Banking (ASEAN) Business to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies for our offshore banking business in the ASEAN region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of the offshore banking industry in ASEAN and Middle East Countries and a track record of driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
Your new role
- Develop and implement business strategies for the offshore banking business and for RCEP-related business activities in the ASEAN region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze business performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
- Analyze business performance, set key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct financial planning and annual budgeting, and prepare commentaries, evaluations, and performance forecasts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, customers, and partners.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the offshore banking team to ensure the successful implementation of business strategies and plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience Business Management or Strategy Planning in offshore banking, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
- Deep understanding of the offshore banking industry and regulatory environment for RCEP-related business activities in ASEAN region.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Proficient communications skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Candidates with proven team leadership experience may be considered for the Team Head position.
