Being one of the market-leading investment banks in Hong Kong & China, our client provides one-stop financial services including securities brokerage, asset management, corporate finance and underwriting, loans and structure financing etc. for global customers . Due to recent business expansion, they are seeking a high calibre Legal Counsel with a corporate background to join their established legal team based in Hong Kong.

Your new role

• Providing pragmatic legal advice and solution in investment projects, corporate finance, asset management as well as other connected transactions
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiations of legal documents
• Liaising with external counsels with instruction to advise and act on legal matters
• Supporting in general commercial matters, transaction related risks and regulatory issues

What you'll need to succeed

• Hong Kong qualified lawyer with minimum 3 years of post-qualified experience gained from an international law firm and/or reputable financial institution
• Sound knowledge and legal experience in corporate finance, ECM, Hong Kong Listing Rules, SFO and related regulatory compliance
• Candidate with strong business acumen and ability to work independently
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is required)
