Your new role

• Strategic partner role to work closely with business leadership team to understand their IT needs on strategic development, operational and technical support, and provide on time professional advice
• Strengthen business user’s portfolio with IT-enabled business processes, and bridge between business users and the technology arms of the business
• Provide consultation to business users on demand prioritisation and/ or architecture and solution option evaluation to facilitate business unit’s IT decision
• Collaborate with other IT Teams to ensure well-aligned and smooth execution of IT projects by:
  • Overseeing the project budget, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Understanding requirements from business unit and facilitate the development team
  • Gathering and analysing business requirements, and preparing design specification
  • Preparing project and system documentation including test plan, SIT and managing system deployment and roll-outs.
  • Managing vendors
• Proactively conduct system portfolio review with business users to optimise synergy and to ensure system stability
• Keep abreast of latest technology trends and use cases to identify new business opportunities and innovative ideas for improving business unit’s portfolio

What you'll need to succeed

• University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with IT management and software development exposure
• Understanding of Sales & Marketing, Order Management, Customer Services and Billing will be an advantage
• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques
• Experience building business cases and analysing cost-benefit scenarios
• Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
• Self-motivated with excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen
• Lateral thinker, innovative problem solver and detailed planner
• Good team manager and team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
