Partnering with an insurance firm focused in growing Asia and Greater Bay region, they are looking for an Investment Risk Analyst.

Your new role

You will identify and monitor investment risks and provide oversight and assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and business risk appetite. You will provide support in monitoring and assessing fund / portfolio performance and risk metrics through setting up investment risk controls in Bloomberg. You will monitor and report indicators and limits, escalate issues and provide risk mitigation solutions.

You will support in assessing underlying risk of all investment proposals, measuring portfolio risk across different asset classes and support in asset allocation / portfolio adjustment. As well, you will prepare investment reports to management team and investment committee.

You will work close with 2nd line risk team and manage investment governance and investment process improvement projects

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-3+ years of experience in asset management industry with investment risk experience
• Ability to use Bloomberg
• ACCA / CFA / FRM qualification highly regarded
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
