Installation Engineering Manager, Signalling

A multinational mobility solution provider is looking for an experienced Installation Manager in signalling.

Your new company
A multinational mobility solution provider is now under an aggressive expansion and looking for an experienced Installation Engineering Manager to join their growing team. The candidate will be the leader in Installation Engineering Management and take lead in one of the signalling project with MTR.

Your new role
  • Installation Engineering Management
  • Delivers engineering studies (Bill of Installation Materials / Quantities, Method Statements, Installation Materials Specification Requirements, Installation drawings and configuration)
  • Ensure the deliverables are prepared in in accordance with the project execution requirements: customer, installation subcontractor, local regulation, etc.
  • Review the Civil interface drawings (e.g. Station building drawings, track layout drawings, etc.)
  • Maintain the validation cycle all installation design including Installation Method statement, drawings, and manages site copies of drawing. Ensures that “as built” drawings are in place before revenue service, including “as installed” configuration.
  • Decides start of work as per 4M Checklist for starting Installation Engineering activities.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Basic experience in railway site management
  • Strong knowledge of Railway products and service knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, Freight and Product)
  • 10+ years production experience in design, drafting or engineering
  • Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives desired
  • Good communication skills and familiarity of working in a unionized environment.
  • Familiarity of both mechanical and electrical basic tools for testing and verification tests of installation.
