Our client is a leading wholesale bank in Hong Kong and is currently seeking for a Head of Institutional Sales to look after its FI clients in Hong Kong.
Your new role
- Overlook a team of 20+ people in the Financial Institutional sales department that is responsible for sales and marketing for bank FI, NBFI clients and Central banks
- Working with the bank's senior executives, devise and formulate a strategy and business plan to grow the bank's business with the FI space
- Monitor the market's conditions and promoted various products including but not limited to FX, rates, FICC, derivatives to assist their FI clients
- Collaborate with FI Relationship Management department to devise tailored banking solutions for their clients
- Facilitate the implementation of projects, and formulate the department's polices and procedures
- Overlook the P&L within the department and compile forecasting pipelines for senior management
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelors degree or above
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Financial Institutional sales / relationship management within in Hong Kong
- Strong global market experience with exposure to various products including FX, rates, derivatives and other structured products
- Previous experience in managing a team and strong leadership skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Chinese is a must
