Executive Officer for Asset Management (EO for Type 9), Chinese Bank
Job Description:
The bank is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Executive Officer to lead their asset management division. The ideal candidate will possess a Type 9 license issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application process for the Type 9 license and maintain close communication with regulatory authorities.
- Develop and improve internal product processes and regulations related to asset management to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal bank requirements.
- Responsible for team and system construction, assisting in building the infrastructure and processes for asset management.
- Formulate and implement asset management strategies, including portfolio management, risk control, and performance evaluation.
- Lead the team to connect with and market to relevant clients, achieving various performance indicators within the bank.
- Oversee the daily operations of the asset management business.
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Type 9 license issued by the Hong Kong SFC.
- At least 5 years of experience in asset management, with preference given to candidates with experience as a Responsible Officer (RO) or Executive Officer (EO).
- Extensive experience in managing client assets and investment portfolios, familiar with the front, middle, and back-office processes, regulatory requirements, and market conditions of various asset management products.
- Excellent communication skills, able to maintain smooth communication and contact with regulatory authorities and other internal and external partners.
- Familiar with asset management-related systems and able to set up relevant business systems promptly.
- Experience in managing discretionary investment accounts and private fund businesses.
- Chinese speaking and writing is a must.
