Your new role
Your company is seeking an experienced ESG Vice Director to join our team. This role will be responsible for protecting our brands from supply chain social, environmental, and material compliance risks while achieving our sustainable development goals. The successful candidate will ensure that suppliers' social responsibility and environmental performance comply with relevant laws and regulations, establish a supply chain ESG management mechanism to monitor supplier compliance and implementation, and coordinate supply chain ESG reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
you will need to have more than 10 years of work experience, with ESG background in international fashion brands preferred. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, environmental research, corporate social responsibility, business, communication, or other related disciplines. You should have an outgoing personality, good teamwork spirit, good interpersonal, expression, and communication skills. You must have a strong sense of responsibility, strong initiative, sensitive response, and able to work under pressure. You should also have good written and oral English skills and be proficient in Mandarin. The position will be based in Xiamen or Shanghai, with occasional business trips.
What you'll get in return
You will have a chance in charge of ESG reporting on supply chain disclosure and coordinating the collection of relevant data. Based on ESG ratings, you will develop plans and roadmaps, and coordinate and manage the annual major ESG rating response work. Additionally, you will follow up on the work of the Sustainable Development Committee.
