Your new company

A leading bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager (min. 5 years of Compliance experience) to join the Compliance department to ensure that all risks are properly identified and assessed, and performing extensive compliance review/ self-assessment for their businesses.

Your new role

As a crucial member within the team, you will support the Team Head with your compliance knowledge across all regulated activities. You'll also be required conduct relevant compliance reviews, gap analysis and self-assessment. Below are the main objectives of your role:

• Oversee the development and implementation of the bank's compliance program
• Monitor and review all banking activities for compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide training and education to staff on compliance issues
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits and provide assistance as necessary
• Provide licensing applications to enhance the compliance standards and procedures of all staff levels
• Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact banking activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally you will have at least 5 years of Compliance experiences
• Possess good knowledge of local regulatory requirements
• Experience in banking or non-banking compliance is welcomed
• Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
