Chinese Private Wealth Management - Relationship Manager

Our Shanghai based client is seeking a Private Wealth Management Consultant to join their overseas office in Hong Kong. With their strong existing client base, the Consultant will develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and their families. If you have a strong background in client facing roles and a passion for serving HNW clients, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our client's private wealth management service.
Your new role
- Customer Exploration: Coordinate and support business expansion teams, conduct initial screening of potential clients, and assess business synergy opportunities.
- Customer Marketing and Business Expansion: Introduce services to HNW families, identify client needs, provide comprehensive guidance, manage client relationships, and contribute to the development of service content.
- Collaboration with Family Stewards: Work with family stewards to synchronize client information, develop service plans, and facilitate ongoing service provision.
- Feedback and Product Development: Summarize client characteristics and needs, provide regular feedback, and contribute to the improvement of product services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher, with 2 years+ of client facing experience in wealth management. Candidates with overseas family trust or family office experience are big plus.
- Strong Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication and coordination abilities, and proactive learning and analytical capabilities.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to handle pressure, willingness to travel, and a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with market dynamics, trends, and services related to capital markets, family succession, and asset management. Candidates with experience in Hong Kong, China, will be given priority consideration.
