Your new company

Our client is one of the leading global bank. We are now looking for an experienced legal professional to join the Legal Team. You will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to various business units and functions, as well as managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Your new role

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents with internal and external parties
• Support the bank functions by providing legal advice.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics and jurisdictions
• Liaise with external counsel and regulators as required
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Provide training and guidance to staff on legal and compliance matters
• Handle any other ad-hoc legal tasks or projects as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of working experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in the financial services industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation and drafting skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism, integrity and ethics
