Reputable Investment Banking is hiring an independent candidate to join them and builds systems that automate the Asia Cash Equities desk’s processes and provide data analytics to improve sales and traders’ efficiency. Your new role

• The new joiner will report directly to the manager of the team, located in Japan and be responsible for following activities:
  • Identify and discuss requirements with front-office users
  • Design both functional and technical solutions to address these requirements
  • Review solutions with the team, and implement them autonomously
  • Monitor and administrate the system
  • Train and support users

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to work in autonomy
• Quick learner and efficient problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and understanding of cash equity
• Experience with databases (SQL preferred)
• Experience with AWS beneficial but not required
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, Java highly preferred
• Experience with web-technologies beneficial but not required
• Strong communication skills in English
