Your new role

• As a SME of Claim Platform and Cloud Transformation
• Manage and drive application transformation workstream to organize/plan/control the activities/resources/budget of assigned application modernisation and transformation projects.
• Supervises teammates to deliver the right IT solutions.
• Keep existing applications in good shape with data consistency and keep application stabilize in a certain standard.

• Manages a team of local and offshore resources to overview project development in order to deliver successful system implementation on time
• Acts as a liaison between internal users and IT in all aspects in system development.
• Measures and monitors progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
• Manages vendors to meet project timelines and quality of the delivery
• Participates in quality management reviews
• Analyzes and solves technical problems and ensures smooth production run of application systems and try every efforts to maintain system availability according to SLA

What you'll need to succeed

• University / College graduate in Computing/IT or related discipline.
• 8 years of experience in Software Development
• Having solid Life Insurance knowledge is a must (prefer on claim area)
• Solid experience in Java programming

• Nice to have Web technologies such as HTML5 React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Solid experience with API, Microservice technologies, and other cloud technologies
• Solid experience with production application system monitoring and performance tuning using EFK/ELK stacks.
• Relational Database experience on MSSQL/AzureSQL
• Effective communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
