My client is a well-established bank with a proud history of serving our customers with dedication and commitment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise and execute internal audits of the bank's operations and activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures, and industry best practices.

- Identify and assess risks associated with the bank's operations and activities, and develop effective audit programs to address those risks.

- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the bank's internal controls, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management, and work with them to develop and implement appropriate corrective actions.

- Monitor the status of corrective actions and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution.

- Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the bank's audit processes and procedures.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the banking industry.

- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and audit software.
