Your new role

§ Work with finance and actuarial team to understand business problem, propose and build new cloud-based architecture and solution

§ Understand end to end business process and implement automation with new technology

§ Design and develop highly scalable data platforms, automated data ingestion and integration pipelines

§ Work with data management technologies for data ingestion, data quality, data security, data lineage, data catalog, master data management

§ Work with data storage solutions such as Data Lake, Relational database, NoSQL database

§ Troubleshoot and solve challenging operational issues in a complex enterprise environment, interacting with multiple services across AWS cloud, on-premises infrastructure, as well as external applications

What you'll need to succeed

§ B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics/ Sciences

§ Experience in working across cloud platforms with large scale infrastructure

§ Experience in data management architecture such as data warehouse, data lake, data hub

§ Experience in implementing ETL / Data Streaming / Data Analytics solution such as pyspark, Kafka

§ At least 3+ years of hand-on experience with data engineering development in handling structured and unstructured data from various data source systems

§ Solid understanding of features and capabilities of AWS Cloud platform

§ Experience in working in Agile projects

§ Knowledge in CI/CD or DevOps practices

§ Excellent communication and written skill including Chinese and English

§ Able to work in a fast-paced development environment as part of a small, cross functionalteam

§ Self-motivated and self-managing

§ Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; proven experience with direct client interaction is preferred
