Employers in Hong Kong’s globalised economy value the mixture of international experience and local cultural understanding that Hong Kong returners can offer. We were intrigued to uncover what these potential returners’ motivations are and how employers can go about attracting them back to Hong Kong.
To help answer these questions, we contacted nationals and those who have lived or worked in Hong Kong before, who are either studying or working overseas, but thinking about coming back to Hong Kong for their next career step. 380+ completed a confidential online questionnaire in October/November 2014.
