With the stabilisation of the economy, more and more companies are actively searching for new business opportunities in China or the wider Asian market. This is creating demand for Sales, Marketing and Business Development professionals across many different industries.
In fast developing green energy industries for example, more local based companies are looking for Sales professionals to increase sales in emerging markets.
With the announcement of China's 'big plane' plan, more and more aerospace companies are proactively looking for local talent to support their business.
The coming quarter
The recent crisis in the Euro zone has raised some concerns amongst employers about the impact on global recovery. Some jobs have been put on hold however there are aggressive companies that will still carry out their recruitment plans.
Executive recruitment
This area is relatively quiet. Senior candidates are more cautious to move, at least until they have a concrete offer or the prospect of higher pay.
Employer trends
Employers are moving faster than before to recruit new talent for key positions due to the competition from other employers on the market.
Candidate trends
Good candidates are now getting more than one interview at a time. With this comes higher expectations and they are typically looking for a 30 per cent increment in their salary.
