Taxation skills are currently sought by Chinese employers. Given China's changing tax regulations and movement towards the international standard, employment activity for senior taxation professionals is rising.
Candidates with professional certificates, such as CPA or ACCA, are valued for the up-to-date knowledge they possess. These qualifications are recognised by most organisations in China.
The market continues to demand strong Executives of Finance, while candidates with strong IT and systems knowledge are valued as organisations replace manual operations.
Finally, candidates with both overseas and local experience are sought by multinational corporations for their cross-cultural experience.
Salaries
Salaries will remain stable. With the supply and demand ratio remaining steady, no major change to current salary levels is expected.
